About

Chris and Kate Valenti launched CK Valenti Designs in 2005, designing and building custom residential projects that included cabinetry, furnishings, and artwork. Our work has evolved over time, serving diverse clients needs including commercial projects for restaurants and corporate offices, custom product demonstration displays and interactives for the semi-conductor industry, and personal protection items during the Covid pandemic.

When CK Valenti Designs was selected to complete our first museum project, we knew we’d found our niche. In early 2015, we completed our largest museum engineering and installation effort, outfitting Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West with display cases, interactives, and even modular gallery walls. Since then, we’ve designed and created interactive displays for the internationally acclaimed Heard Museum, Musical Instrument Museum, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Fiesta Bowl Museum, Phoenix Art Museum, and Desert Botanical Gardens, among others.

In 2023, Chris and Kate relocated their family to wine country in northern Oregon, in part to escape the Arizona heat, in part to create opportunity for a new adventure. We are reestablishing operations here in the forest and look forward to serving both new and existing clients from this new location.

Since 2017, CK Valenti Designs has sponsored an annual design and build challenge aimed at middle school students. The purpose of the “Break Out of the Box” event is to inspire middle school students to put down their electronic devices and get creative working with their hands. We hope this event will help encourage a new generation of builders and tradespeople.
