Since 2017, CK Valenti Designs has sponsored an annual design and build challenge aimed at middle school students. The purpose of the “Break Out of the Box!” event is to inspire middle school students to put down their electronic devices and get creative working with their hands. We hope this event will help encourage a new generation of builders and tradespeople. Each year, our community event has been provided free-of-charge to all interested students, due in part to a collection of awesome sponsors. Our volunteer judges come from the art, museum, design, architecture, engineering, and/or construction industries.
