Museum Wall ProjectCK Valenti Designs blends craftsmanship and technology to create unique installations, exhibits and interiors that engage, entertain and educate. From concept to installation, we work with museums, hospitality and high-tech companies to create interactive experiences that wow their customers.

We are hiring an experienced, innovative craftsman and fabricator who is comfortable working with a variety of materials. If you like problem solving and working with your hands to build different types of projects, CK Valenti could be a great fit.

Duties and Responsibilities

If selected for this position, you’ll be working in our shop located in Chandler, AZ. Our shop hours are Monday through Thursday from 7am to 5pm. Your work will include custom projects ranging from museum exhibits, interactive displays and built-in cabinetry.

You need to be comfortable working with construction materials and equipment as well as other people. You report

directly to the owner, Chris Valenti but will also coordinate with our office manager and other craftsmen. On occasion, you will be working directly with clients mostly when doing on-site installs.

Qualifications and Skills

If this sounds like your dream job, you are our perfect candidate if you can:

  • Successfully read and interpret blueprints and installation specifications.
  • Successfully prepare materials per specifications.
  • Design, produce and test wood products.
  • Build furniture using hand tools.
  • Use automated machinery, such as computerized numerical control (CNC) machines.
  • Set up, operate, and tend drill presses, lathes, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and other wood-working and metal-working machines.
  • Check project package against paperwork to ensure readiness for field installation.
  • Load projects into work vehicle and onto client site with care.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of work vehicle, shop and client site.
  • Successfully complete proper installation per specification, delivering high quality, and completing within the time specified for the project (on the client bid/proposal).
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot tool malfunctions and perform repairs as needed.

In addition to the above, we are seeking candidates experienced (ideally at least 5 years) in wood and on-site installation. You must also be:

  • Organized, hard-working, and a self-starter.
  • Able to work alone or with a partner and team.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Have great attention to detail, be focused, and accurate.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment. Our projects move quickly and must be comfortable working under and meeting strict deadlines.


It’s a plus if you have the following skills:

  • Experience with Cabinet Vision and AlphaCAM.
  • Experience operating a CNC router and laser.
  • Metal fabrication.
  • Plastic fabrication.



Compensation and Benefits

If you join us as Craftsman and Fabricator you’ll earn between $23 to $33 per hour plus bonuses (when expectations are met or exceeded). We offer paid vacation and holidays, as well as health insurance reimbursement.
