Powder Room Vanity Retrofit

The structure of this custom bathroom vanity started as an antique chest owned by the homeowners. We changed the overall size of the cabinet and reinforced the inside with a new walnut interior, before topping it with a countertop made of Iroko. Iroko is an African hardwood, sometimes called “African Teak”.

The powder room vanity sits on a stone base, which floats off the ground 12″ and is under-lit by LED lighting.
